Serge Gainsbourg is dead

Serge Gainsbourg, born on April 2, 1928 in Paris, was a French singer, songwriter, painter, author, poet, pianist, screenwriter and director. He died on March 2, 1991 in Paris at the age of 62.

Serge Gainsbourg is the father of Charlotte Gainsbourg. He was romantically involved with Jane Birkin.
