Juan Carlos, born on January 5, 1938 in Rome, was a Spanish monarch. He died on January 28, 2021 at the age of 83.

Juan Carlos is the father of Infanta Elena, Infanta Cristina and Felipe de Borbón. He has been married to Queen Sofía of Spain.
